Tuggeranong Building Service can provide you with well organised projects and quality workmanship.

We have been providing this service to the Canberra community for many years with great satisfaction to our clients.

We cannot guarantee there won’t be any hiccups along the way, unfortunately there are occasions where unforeseen circumstances do arise, as explained below.

Start with your Budget. How much do you want and need to spend, can you afford to spend that much?

Most tradespeople can provide you with a free quote or estimate. This is how you can work out how big your budget needs to be.

We recommend getting more than one quote from each trade and listen to what each trade is going to provide. Going for the cheapest quote is not always the best, neither is going for the dearest. When you receive the quote, enquire about the tradies availability.

While your tradespeople are on site, ask them if there will be any complications or delays. If yes, add this to your budget. Another trades person may find the work straight forward with no complications, so still budget for the worst, as its always better to have money left over than not enough.

One of the problems you will encounter when organising your project is finding reliable tradespeople. Timing is key when you are organising your trades people for your project. There is nothing worse than a tradesperson not turning up when they are suppose to. Communication with your trades people is essential, the more you can communicate, the better.

If a tradesperson fails to turn up or finishes early, call the next tradesperson and inform them of the situation. The last thing you want is to have multiple tradespeople turning up to start working in the same area at the same time.

If what we have said sounds complicated then give us a call to handle the project for you.
